{inspiration} cake pop company

when i was on the tomkat studio's facebook fan page the other day...
a post by kim led me to the cake pop company's recent blog post about their order of 2,500 cake pops for an event hosted by warner bros. studios.
yes...
25 HUNDRED cake pops...
i was immediately inspired by the use of color & design from this photo:

WOW!!
stunning...right?
i honed in on the brilliant use of circles and immediately thought:
"this would make a FABULOUS party invitation!"
so i went to work and created this:

which eventually ended up leading to these darling little creations:

don't you just LOVE these???
can't you just see an entire party centered around these colors and super-cute dots?

the cake pops alone are just darling...

i'm SO thankful for the beautiful inspiration other creative & talented people provide...
it's often without them even knowing...
thank you kim, for the post on your fb fan page that led me to the cake pop co...
and thank you cake pop company for sharing your photos and talents on your blog.

what's inspiring YOU lately?

Keeping It Real:
I never thought I'd get this post finished...
little Ella will NOT take a nap today? *grumbling*

I love the bold tones in both the cake pop event and your own creations....
The different "flavors" in the MacBeth Design Collection always inspire me!! And now you can even get them in flip flops!

WOW! I see it and think... I want that in my living room (and never do it)! You see it, and make more beautiful things from it!!! Amazing!

Love it! The circles and the color combo are so excellent and a little mod, too. I have to make invites for my friend's mother's 50th birthday party and now I'm totally inspired! Thanks!
