Sprinkle the confetti people! It's time to celebrate!
All of Ella's Thank You Cards were finally finished and sent last week! *high five*
AND…I was also able to edit all of the Rainbow Unicorn party photos and will be sharing the details soon!

You are looking at the front of the thank you cards - addressed and ready just before I mailed or hand-delivered them. More details on how I put these together are coming later this week.
For now, just know they are tucked inside pretty clear envelopes from JamPaper and Envelope!

I've been asked to bring cupcakes to Ella's Valentine's Day party on Friday so I was contemplating making my own or just picking up a delicious dozen or two from Cupcake Delights.

THEN…I saw THESE posted on Facebook today by my sweet friend, Carrie, from The Cake Blog and I can't help myself. I'll be doing the mini-sized version and I'm hoping the kids absolutely love them!! I promise to share my results!

Live-Inspired (aka Compendium, Inc.) is starting an exciting new project for 2013: A Thankful Life. 

A mission to inspire the writing of ONE MILLION THANK YOU CARDS! 

They've designed this gorgeous Gratitude Kit to encourage each of us to participate...

I think the images speak for themselves...

But I'll go ahead and give you a verbal breakdown on the logistics of this pretty box:

which, by the way, reminds me of a box of fine chocolates...*wink*

The kit includes 52 Thank You Cards & Envelopes, (one to be sent/given each week), tips on writing a meaningful letter, and a journal to keep track of your thoughts.

I'm a HUGE advocate of the handwritten letter!!

This project/kit completely speaks to my heart!! 

Not only do I love receiving a handwritten note...

I love giving them.

This "Year of Gratitude Kit" is beautiful in so many ways:

- packaging/presentation/design

- inspirational quotes tucked within the pages of the Gratitude Journal and packaging

- the powerful message behind the purpose of its creation

- the ability it has to effect the lives of those around us

- the potential it holds for changing/bettering the life of the person writing the Thank You Cards.

I actually squealed aloud!!

I immediately took a photo of it and posted it to my my Instagram account and started counting down the days until 2013.
