PRINT | Let Heaven + Nature Sing Art Print

Monday, December 11

Well happy Monday, friends!!
I'm popping in to share this "Let Heaven + Nature Sing" sign I created to update my "Give Thanks" sign I had in this frame.

Since my Christmas decor this year has consisted of a mix of raw woods, whites and a little greenery, this sign just felt SO right. It's "simple + sweet" too which as you know, is my ongoing vibe and theme this Christmas season and this past year.

If you love it, I've created two sizes for you to download, print + frame.
Gift it. Frame it. Use it at your table settings...whatever your heart desires!!

Enjoy!!
Love you guys!!

xoxo,
Jess

FREE | Give Thanks Art Print

Monday, November 20

We are only 3 days away from feasting with our friends + family, gathering around tables filled with an over abundance of delicious pies food and giving thanks for the pies blessings we enjoy in this life.

My aunt is hosting Thanksgiving this year and she reached out to me to create a "Give Thanks" sign for the "Thanksgiving Tree" she is setting up on a tabletop. It sounds like we'll each get a leaf to write down something we are thankful for, pies obviously, and then we'll add it to the tree.

Well I was so happy when I was given the assignment of making pies with the turn out I decided to make it available as a FREE DOWNLOAD!  -----> link at bottom of post

My aunt requested a custom 18x8 sign but I'm also making pies it available as an 8x10 as well as 4x6.
I figured some of you may want to frame it - as shown in the images above - and some of you may want to add them to your place settings.

Pssst...if you aren't hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year...this would make a fantastic hostess gift!! You're welcome!! *wink*

There are also THREE background options to choose from (see below) and every file size is available in .pdf as well as .jpg format.

I hope you love them and will print them out to add a sweet + simple reminder about what Thanksgiving is truly about....and it's not really about the pies...as much as I'd like to think. *wink*

Happy Thanksgiving to you friends.
I am so grateful for each and every one of you.
May you enjoy the day with your family + loved ones and may we all take a minute to truly count our blessings and "give thanks" for all that we have.

xoxo,
Jess

1. Don't look to closely....the eucalyptus in the first photo is completely dead and dried out. But it looks great in photos, doesn't it?! *wink*

2. Really concerned about another spot on my face that could potentially be skin cancer again. Trying not to worry and turning it over to God.

3. The Fall decor is coming down and the Christmas is coming out before we head out of town this week. I'll explain my fresh new perspective on Thanksgiving melting into Christmas later this week.

LiFE | First Day of School :: 2016

Wednesday, August 10

Yep! I have a 2nd Grader and a Senior this year! *huge sigh*
Today is the first day of school and I managed to snap a few photos of Ella on her way to school.
I'm hoping to catch Ema, my Senior, when school gets out this afternoon.

I also managed to whip up some cute signs this year too!
Right now I've just got "2nd grade" and "Senior" but if you need a flowery sign for your child's grade, leave a comment and I'll get it created for you right away.

Why is the start of every school year such a struggle emotionally.
I really just don't want my kids to grow up you guys. I know you all can totally relate.
Raise your hand if you just want to keep them little enough to snuggle with...forever.

FREE | Let Me Look Upward :: 8x10 Art Print

Monday, June 27

To me, nothing says Summer more than sleeping in, slowing down and sitting on a blanket beneath a canopy of old oak trees.

Just as the quote says, I actually have been "looking up into the branches of the towering oak trees" and being a bit more reflective as of late. Most of the time it's when I walk our dog in the morning when the world is just stretching its arms out and opening its eyes.

Needless to say, when I came across this quote the other day, it seemed so perfect for where I'm at right now in life.

I'm not in a rush. (as often)
I say no to things. (much more often than I used to)
I don't feel so guilty about saying no. (most of the time)
I take more time to look into my kids' eyes when they are sharing something with me, or I with them.
I do more listening. (when I'm not talking) *wink*
And mostly...I've cut many of the ropes of self-expectations that have bound me tightly for most of my life.

It feels oh so good and it's pretty amazing the difference these changes have made.

I love the line in the quote that says "send my roots deep into the soil of life's enduring values."
I've always said I want to "live a life that has an organic authenticity with an heirloom quality to it."
When I find myself getting lost...or feeling distant from the values that live deep in my heart, it seems the majestic oak trees always have a way of calling me back to the place I am meant to be.

So yes, I immediately felt a connection with this quote from an unknown author as soon as I read it. I loved it enough to take time to create a simple art print using it.

If you share my love for oak trees too or just love the message in this art print I designed, grab the FREE 8x10 DOWNLOAD HERE!

I hope you all have been having a wonderful Summer!
And most importantly...I hope you've been finding ways to slow down.

xoxo,
Jess

I've been spending A LOT of time on Snapchat over the last couple of months, sharing my sense of humor. I have to say I'm so glad a friend of mine twisted my arm on several occasions begging me to get on there because I just LOVE it. I rarely get to share that side of me here on the blog...or with people in general...and it's just been a fun, laid-back way to tap into my silly side. If you are on there too, you can find me by searching: pnpflowers

I'll be posting more about WHY I love Snapchat along with a couple of videos I've posted on there too...just to give you a glimpse into what you are missing out on. *eye rolling with a wink*

P.S.  Super excited about our Family Reunion coming up this weekend!
My family tries to have them every 18 months and I've been missing them.
