Party Theme: Summertime Birthday Party
Inspiration: Boo-Bah Blue fabric bunting
Color Palette: A gorgeous mix of bright and bold colors
Party Style: Modern • Whimsical

I'm seeing a lot of "Combined Birthday Parties" lately and this one put together by Renee Zempel of Sweet Art turned out absolutely adorable!  The vivid colors in this party SCREAM summer fun. Renee had the honor of styling a party for three family members whose birthdays fall close to each other.  It was important to keep the party not only gender-neutral but age appropriate for all three birthday honorees.  She pulled it off perfectly!! I adore all of the fabric bunting used throughout the party details and the dessert table was truly a whimsical work of art! Keep reading for all of the fantastic details. I'm certain you'll be absolutely inspired for your next event/celebration....

Gorgeous in every way...don't you agree. (including the beautiful children)

My Favorite Party Details:
• fabric flags used in the mini cupcakes
• the clever displays of veggies & fruit kabobs
• the whimsical cakes
• drink station garnishes

I'm thrilled with how everything turned out for this adorable Summertime Birthday!!
The marshmallow dipping station, face painting and activity table kept the kids busy with fun.
Renee, you did a beautiful job and I'm so excited to share the inspiration with everyone here!

Party Summary by Renee Zempel:
It was my delightful privilege to design the tablescapes for an outdoor soiree that was hosted by a very lovely family.  Since three of the family members share birthdays that are quite close to each other on the calendar, they decided to throw one grand party to celebrate them all.  Such fun!  The weather cooperated beautifully and it was a picture perfect day!

The hosts requested a party that did not have a gender-specific or age-specific theme, so that it would accommodate all of the birthday people well. Boo Bah Blue's beautiful fabrice buntings became the inspiration for the party decor. The bold, festive colors and bright, whimsical patterns used in the buntings set a festive tone.

The snack buffet featured a "Sweet & Salty" theme, including individual servings of fresh veggies & ranch dip, petite fruit skewers,  kettle corn, tortilla chips & spicy salsa,  and other light snacks.  The beverage table was complete with a garnish station, including lemon & lime wedges, maraschino cherries, fresh mint leaves, and colorful paper straws.  The dessert tablescape, which was truly the main attraction,  was filled to the brim with irresistible sweets.  Three gorgeous cakes, by the talented Sweet Tooth Confections, created the centerpiece.  There were also mini Meyer lemon cupcakes,  chocolate dipped strawberries,  cookies with sparkling sugar crystals, vanilla meringues, and a very popular marshmallow pop dipping station.

But, the truly sweetest things of all were the adorable birthday siblings and the many delicious babies in attendance.  : )

The cake is great! I love the healthy snacks display too.....looks so cute and what a nice change from sweets overload (that I am very guilty of!)

Such festive colors! Everything looks so bright, appetizing and inviting.

Her pretty display looks like a professional magazine shoot for a "how-to" article.

I am impressed.
