12 days of SIMPLE holiday gift giving • day 4

Thursday, December 16

With the holiday spirit surely warming your heart by now through
holiday music (Day 1)...
holiday scents (Day 2)...
and some holiday lights (Day 3)...

...it's time for

Day 4
holidaygreetings

If you haven't sent out your holiday cards yet...there's still time.
Why even send them out at all?
Because reaching out and connecting with others is what this season is about. (see THIS POST)
So...
it's time to say "hello", "I love you", "I miss you", "I'm sorry", "Feliz Navidad", "Happy Holidays", etc...
And I'm going to make it REALLY easy for you.
If it's not really in the budget for holiday cards this year...
I've come up with a few different options that are sure to meet everyone's needs...
and the best part is they are all FREE!!

3.5x5 Holiday Cheer Greeting Card
5x7greetingcardPORTRAIT
This prints 2 per page, is a folding card and is blank on the inside for a personalized message.
These can be hand-delivered or mailed.

Since not everyone has coordinating envelopes to accommodate a 3.5x5 card...
If you'd rather skip having to go out and purchase some...
I cleverly came up with another option:

• No. 10 Envelope Holiday Cheer Greeting Card •
number10greetingcard
These are even more cost-efficient since you can print 3 per page
AND these will fit your standard no. 10 envelope I'm sure most of us have around the house.
Sign the front with a short holiday greeting or fill the backside with a personalized message.

Need to avoid purchasing postage altogether this year?
How about sending an eco-friendly holiday greeting card this year via email:

• Eco-friendly Holiday Cheer Greeting Card •

If you have an extra minute or two,
include a message in the subject area of your email to make it more personalized!!
(If you have any issues with downloading the file from Flickr,
email me directly: pnpflowers@live.com
I'll send you the file right away!)

SIMPLE GIFT GIVING IDEA
Package up a small bundle of greeting cards and envelopes. Simple.

Here's a FREE BUNDLE of assorted cards I created just for you...
thankyoustripedTWO
(sentiments include: Happy Birthday, Thank You, Congrats, and Hello)

Print, trim, bundle with ribbon and share...
(It's all about giving/sharing right now people...
you can always print yourself a set after the holidays!) *wink*

KEEPING IT REAL
Boy this post took me forever to finish...
Still a "Lights Only" Christmas tree at this point.
Hoping to throw some decorations on it this afternoon with the girls...
Right before we run out the door to Ema's holiday school program tonight.

But hey...I finally added some "red" to the wreaths I had decorated for Thanksgiving.
Things are coming together at a snail's pace...and I'm okay with that! (right this second, anyway). *wink*

Perfect timing...the Fed Ex man just beeped - my holiday cards have arrived!
How's that for a perfect way to end a post all about holiday "greetings"...
WAIT....
Hold up...
It wasn't Fed Ex...
It was USPS...darn it!!!
By the way...
Does anyone else get beeps from their mailman to come out and get their packages so the carrier doesn't have to walk it up to your house?
This has been going on for awhile now and I find it kind of odd?
But maybe it's protocol?
